Outing Day. (part2)

okay part 2! First we went in the National Folk Museum Of Korea :) and sawalot of stuff that brought dad alot of old memories... *first i taught we were not allowed to take photos.. so didnt take alot of photos... This two logs of wood was placed at the entrance of a village cause they used to say that the scary looking logs of woods will protect the village from ghosts.And this big container was used to collect cow's poop and they carry it to the farm to give it to the plants as fertilizers.And stuff that you put on the cow to do farming :)This used to be a raincoat last time.. !!The olden days kitchen..Haha, olden time shoes :) can you see a weird looking high heels? :DAnd a rich man's room...that yellow thing is sofa/bed :)And some korean traditional masks..haha, dad said, while he was young he was bored watching the fire, so he played with the fire near that stack of hay and burned the whole kitchen. hah !!And all types of kimchi !! There was this cow at the museum that held alot of wished of people.so, joo won and i didn the same and wrote out wished on it :)heeee ♥This was how a coffin of korea looked like...The king's meeting room. Kay, now to the next museum.. The National Palace Museum Of Korea.Look, a carved wood that was on the roof... looks like stitch :DPieces of art work that is at the king's house...

Olden times instruments :) And a piece of the burn roof of the Nam Dae Moon. Then after a loooooooooooong day of walking and touring. we ate Ra Men at a nice shop.with notes all over the shop by the people who visited the shop. Then lastly for the day, we bought this traditional sweet that the king used to eat last time. It is made by hard honey that is stretched till it is as thin as hair. Then, inside it is filled with nuts and almond :) mmmmmmmmmm.. i think ive seen it at malaysia?? did i?? haha. ♥

Outing Day.

On the 18th of February, we went out to the city to do some touring ;) so we came to one of the museum of Korea and saw this door thing infront of the subway. They wrote there, that if you go through this door, you will live a long life ;D And this is the first museum of Korea. *free entrance ;)But next to the museum, we saw this !!GyeongBokGung. The main palace of the Joseon Dynasty. Infact, we were just in time to see the guards exchange shifts. cause last time this used to be the king's palace. so there were guards guarding :)Here is the video of the exchange of shifts. Its kinda long though. but nice ;)

took picture with one of the worker . Then when we were about to enter, they said we need tickets. so we went to buy em. (Total for 1 adult and 2 kids=6000원*Rm18) The rules for the guards is that they cannot move unless necessary. NO picking nose, moving, scratching.. haha..staing next to them were like standing next to statues.. !! This guy was handsome ;DAnd orighty !! entering time ! Look at this animal sculpture. Most of the sculptures in the palace are imaginative creatures. And this sculpture especially came out of TV cause it is the only sculpture that shows the tongue.Snap at the second gate. Then , here we are bowing cause last time, people stood at their spots and bowed to the king. Then finally, where the king used to work. And the inside. Where the king used to sit and the king's men used to be. The ceiling. chunn ! The side view of the king's "office" haha. Haha, Joo Won ;)Oh, we found this :D funny~This one of Joo Won actually looks very real.haha.Later, we saw this free clothes trying place !! na young getting ready. And Joo Won getting ready.wallah !! *smilesNow for the photoshoot time. ! haha !!!!!! ♥ And there he goes, buying coke. haha, looks funny ;D Na Young :) Joo Won :) One more snap! Time to return the baju :) Us.*thank you japanese lady who took the picture :) Okay. now, this is where the king used to "party like a rockstar" haha :D we saw artists coming here to draw . awesome. Then we saw statues of the years we were born.. dad is an Ox.
Joo Won is a rat. heee. Na Young is a Roster .. And these are korea's olden time shops. like pharmacy.. with all the herbs for medicine.And a hat and shoe shop.And a korean traditional dress shop.Okay, the next blog will be about :
